Approximately 3 hours of asynchronous online training (e-learning format) .
This training introduces the fundamental concepts of of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
It is separated in 4 parts:
- An overview of metrology and GD&T basics
- Datums, controls, modifiers and special cases
- Two hands-on activities,
- A printable one-pager that can be used as a reference for future projects.
OBJECTIVES
At the end of this training, the user will be able to:
- Identify datums and controls,
- Apply modifiers
- Read and understand the dimensioned drawings neded to build an inspection program.
A certificate will be issued to users who pass the quiz and complete both activites.
